Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Mechanical Technician to support the assembly, integration, testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of automated inspection systems. This role involves building and refining complex machinery in close collaboration with engineering and operations teams to deliver high-quality products.

The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with precision mechanical systems, pneumatic controls, and metrology, and will read and interpret

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in precision mechanical assembly, machine building, automation, robotics, or related high-tech manufacturing.
• Experience using ERP systems and project tracking tools.
• Experience assembling and troubleshooting complex mechanical/electromechanical systems.
• Strong knowledge of pneumatic systems and industrial automation equipment.
• QA experience.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, assembly drawings, pneumatic schematics and BOMs.
• Experience using precision measurement equipment (calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, height gauges).

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Technician to support the assembly, integration, testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of automated inspection systems. This position is ideal for a highly skilled technician who enjoys buildingcomplex machinery, solving technical challenges, and working closely with engineering and operations teams to deliver world-class products.

Skills and Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in precision mechanical assembly, machine building, industrial automation, robotics, semiconductor equipment, metrology systems, or similar high-tech manufacturing environments.
• Demonstrated ability to navigate technical and administrative work on a computer such as ERP systems and project tracking tools
• Demonstrated experience assembling and troubleshooting complex mechanical and electromechanical systems.
• Strong knowledge of pneumatic systems and industrial automation equipment.
• QA experience
• Ability to read and interpret: Mechanical drawings, Assembly drawings, Pneumatic schematics, Bills of Material (BOMs)
• Experience using precision measurement equipment, including calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, height gauges, and related inspection tools.
