Job summary

Skyven Technologies, a remote-first company, is seeking a Senior Mechanical Systems Engineer. This role requires strong mechanical judgement and practical engineering capability. The engineer will work closely with the CTO to turn ambitious concepts into actionable designs in the field. You will drive design from concept through to production, ensuring all systems are optimized for performance and cost. The salary range for the position is between $130,000 and $160,000, including flexible PTO and stock options.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience in industrial equipment, energy systems, or related product development.
• Ability to communicate clearly with engineers, vendors, and leadership.
• Experience improving engineering workflows through automation or design tools.

Responsibilities

• Help develop and refine industrial thermal-fluid systems focusing on buildability and cost.
• Contribute to and improve P&IDs and system layouts.
• Create CAD models and critically review design packages before fabrication.
