Job summary

Boeing St. Louis is seeking Experienced or Senior Mechanical System Design Engineers to develop, maintain and modify air vehicle subsystems and components using NX/Teamcenter and other design methods. This is based in the St. Louis region with Berkeley, Hazelwood, St.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Civil/Aerospace/Aeronautical or Materials).
• Level 3: 5+ years related work experience or equivalent.
• Level 4: 9+ years related work experience or equivalent.
• Experience using NX/Teamcenter and reading 2-D drawings.
• Must be able to obtain US Security Clearance; US Citizenship required.
• Some positions may require Special Program Access; US Citizenship only.

Responsibilities

• Develop, integrate and document air vehicle subsystems requirements to establish the system design.
• Develop, maintain and modify air vehicle subsystems and component designs using 3-D CAD tools to provide product definition.
• Perform, integrate analytic and test results to validate systems meet requirements.
• Lead supplier development, test and production activities to optimize design and meet program goals.
• Develop new design/analysis processes and tools to improve efficiency.
• Investigate emerging technologies to develop concepts for future designs.
