Job summary

Amteck, LLC is seeking a General Mechanical Superintendent to lead field operations, supervise mechanical crews, and ensure safety, schedule, and quality on HVAC, piping, and retrofit projects. You will coordinate labor, materials, and subcontractors while maintaining project standards and client satisfaction.

The role requires deep experience in mechanical construction, strong leadership, and the ability to manage multiple crews across sites, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years in mechanical construction or HVAC.
• 3–5 years supervisory experience.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specs, and schedules.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and jobsite safety.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical crews performing HVAC, piping, sheet metal, equipment installation, startup, service and retrofit work.
• Plan, coordinate, and direct daily field operations to meet safety, schedule, and budget requirements.
• Review drawings, specifications, contracts, schedules, and work scopes for accurate field execution.
• Coordinate manpower, equipment utilization, and subcontractor activities.
• Ensure proper LOTO procedures and site safety requirements are followed.
