Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking a Senior Quality Control Mechanical Engineer to oversee quality assurance for complex industrial projects on the Space Coast. You will provide technical leadership during design and construction to ensure all mechanical, plumbing, and process systems meet quality standards.

The role requires a PE license, 10+ years in quality control, and strong knowledge of industry codes. On-site work is expected with travel to project sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master's preferred).
• Current Professional Engineering (PE) license.
• 10+ years of experience in quality control for complex industrial projects.
• Demonstrated expertise in mechanical, plumbing, and process system design and construction.
• Strong understanding of industry codes and standards (ASME, ASTM, AWS, etc.).
• Experience with quality management systems and inspection methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and technical guidance during design and construction phases for complex industrial projects.
• Develop and implement quality control plans and inspection procedures for mechanical systems.
• Conduct inspections of mechanical, plumbing, and process systems throughout construction.
