Job summary

AVCON, INC. seeks a Mechanical Engineering Project Manager in Orlando, FL to lead facility engineering projects from proposal to construction. You will oversee design, QA/QC, and coordination with engineers and sub-consultants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience in managing facilities engineering projects.
• Familiarity with HVAC design and codes.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and management of facilities engineering projects, ensuring completeness and accuracy of design work.
• Prepare project documentation including plans, specifications, and estimates.
• Coordinate engineers and sub-consultants to meet schedule and budget.
• Attend project meetings and present engineering portions of the work.
• Ensure compliance with contract requirements and client expectations.
