Job summary

Stark Tech is seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer to support the full lifecycle of building systems and energy-focused infrastructure projects. You will perform detailed calculations, select equipment, design layouts, and develop construction documents, ensuring compliance with codes and safety standards.

You will lead technical meetings, manage workflows, and collaborate with architects, contractors, and clients to deliver cost-effective, sustainable solutions.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Engineering or related field
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred
• Five or more years of experience in building infrastructure projects and/or energy reduction initiatives
• Demonstrated portfolio of completed mechanical engineering projects is a plus
• Strong working knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and safety regulations in mechanical engineering
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and customer service skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing project requirements

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed engineering calculations for mechanical systems in building infrastructure projects
• Conduct equipment selection, system layout, and mechanical design for new and existing facilities
• Develop and review construction documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards
• Participate in and lead technical project meetings, providing expertise and guidance to team members
• Manage project workflows to meet established schedules and financial objectives
• Conduct field investigations to assess site conditions and inform engineering solutions
• Stay current on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices relevant to building systems and energy efficiency
• Perform life cycle cost analyses to optimize project value and sustainability
• Contribute technical input to business development efforts, including proposals and cost estimates
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, clients, and external partners
