Stark Tech is seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer to lead the design, development, and implementation of advanced mechanical systems for high-performance buildings. You will oversee projects from conception through commissioning, applying expertise in HVAC, hydronics, central plant systems, and air distribution to deliver energy-efficient, code-compliant solutions.

The role emphasizes leadership, mentorship, and customer-facing communication.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in mechanical building systems.
• Leadership and cross-functional team management experience.
• Professional certifications desirable.
• Expertise in HVAC design, load calculations, and central plant systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full project lifecycle, from conceptualization through commissioning.
• Apply advanced knowledge of HVAC, hydronics, and central plant systems to develop robust solutions.
• Conduct load calculations, equipment selection, and design air/fluid distribution systems.
• Prepare Basis of Design documents, narratives, specifications, and detailed construction documentation.
• Define sequences of operation and integrate mechanical systems with BAS.
