Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• 10+ years of mechanical engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with plastic part design and mechanisms.
• Siemens NX Unigraphics preferred.
• Knowledge of GD&T and tolerancing.
• Experience with injection molding, die casting, extrusion, and related processes.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Strong problem solving and project documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Document and present complex engineering information to stakeholders.
• Design or modify components using NX CAD to meet customer needs.
• Apply product development techniques to assess performance of components and systems.
• Coordinate CAD drafting and control features critical to fit and function.
• Determine GD&T and tolerancing with suppliers.
• Develop test plans and perform analyses.
