HDR is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our Missouri-based Power Generation team. As a Senior Power Mechanical Engineer, you will be joining a highly capable, multi-disciplinary team that supports power and energy projects primarily within the utility, IPP, industrial, institutional, and municipal sectors.
The primary duties of the position include:
The typical deliverables developed by this individual and/or their team include construction drawings, bid specifications, pipe stress analyses, mechanical equipment sizing calculations, technical memos, bid evaluations, code reviews, feasibility studies, reports, and cost estimates. Project roles will vary based on the size and type of the project, as well as the capabilities, experience, and preferred focus of the engineer. Project roles will consist of lead mechanical engineer, project engineering manager, and project manager.
Preferred Qualifications
Significant experience with the design and specification of power generation systems for simple cycle, combined cycle, distributed generation, RICE, CHP, and renewables projects is preferred.

Required Qualifications
Requires professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered. Example: Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng) license.
