Job summary

gpac is seeking a Mechanical Project Manager and Estimator focused on commercial HVAC projects. You will lead projects from kickoff through commissioning, coordinating with estimating, design-build teams, and in-house fabrication and installation crews.

You will prepare accurate estimates, manage change orders, and work with Procore, Word, Excel, and Outlook to keep documentation and communications on track. This role offers a competitive salary, comprehensive medical benefits, and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Proven project management and estimating experience in commercial mechanical construction, preferably HVAC.
• Experience handling change orders and engaging in design-build projects.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Comfortable working in a dynamic in-house team handling fabrication to installation.

Responsibilities

• Manage HVAC mechanical projects from start to finish including scheduling, coordination, and execution.
• Prepare accurate estimates and manage change orders to keep projects on budget.
• Oversee design-build processes as part of integrated project delivery.
• Collaborate with in-house HVAC shop, sheet metal fabrication, service, and installation teams.
• Use Word, Excel, Outlook, and Procore to streamline communications and project documentation.
