Job summary

gpac seeks a seasoned Project Manager to lead commercial mechanical projects in Houston, TX. This on-site, full-time role oversees from buyout through closeout, coordinating budgets, schedules, procurement, and field teams to ensure safety, quality, and profitability.

Ideal candidates bring HVAC or multi-trade mechanical project experience, a strong MEP background, and proven skills in scheduling, cost control, and stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Experience directly managing HVAC or multi-trade mechanical construction projects.
• Background from a commercial mechanical contractor (field, estimating, or APM into PM).
• GC or CM project managers with a strong MEP background will be considered.
• Strong scheduling, cost control, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own commercial mechanical projects from buyout through closeout.
• Manage budgets, schedules, procurement, change orders, and billing.
• Lead field leadership, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Work directly with GCs, owners, and engineers.
• Drive safety, quality, and profitability on every job.
