Job summary

Faith Technologies Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Project Manager to lead onsite planning, coordination, and execution of mechanical systems on large-scale data center projects.

You will manage piping, cooling, ductwork, and related infrastructure, ensuring safety, schedule, and budget alignment with contract requirements. The role requires 7–15+ years of experience in large-scale mechanical scopes, preferably on mission-critical or data center programs, with travel 35–50%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 7–15+ years of experience managing mechanical scopes on large-scale construction projects.
• Experience with mission-critical or data center projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of mechanical scope, including pre-site mobilization, site mobilization, commissioning, and project turnover.
• Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, and construction teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Manage project schedules, milestones, and deliverables to meet aggressive data center timelines.
• Ensure mechanical systems align with design intent, specifications and owner requirements.
• Develop and manage budgets, invoicing, forecasts and cost tracking for mechanical scope.
• Oversee subcontractor agreements, purchase orders and change management processes.
• Identify and mitigate cost risks; drive value engineering where appropriate.
• Act as primary liaison for mechanical trades, vendors and stakeholders.
• Coordinate commissioning activities with manufacturing and on-site install teams; document progress.
• Support BIM/VDC coordination, clash resolution and design integration efforts.
• Partner with superintendents to ensure mechanical installations meet quality and safety standards.
• Develop detailed manufacturing and execution plans to integrate mechanical scope into master schedule.
• Lead weekly coordination meetings and progress reviews.
• Promote and enforce a strong safety culture across mechanical activities.
• Monitor field activities and report safety concerns.
• Provide regular updates on progress, risks, and performance metrics.
