Job summary

The Bell Company is seeking a Mechanical Plumbing Superintendent to lead field operations on hospitals, laboratories, and large industrial projects. The initial assignment is in Washington, DC, with the regional office in Hanover, MD.

You will supervise craft personnel, monitor costs, and ensure safety and quality across complex installations. We offer an ESOP, annual bonus program, relocation assistance, and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, 401(k), life insurance, and paid time

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Heavy Industrial and Institutional Construction with a plumbing background.
• Past projects should exceed $5 million in size.
• Experience supervising craftspeople in a self-perform environment.
• Familiar with project controls (schedules, cost control, procurement, quality/safety).
• Past professional licensing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee field operations for mechanical plumbing on hospitals, laboratories, and large industrial projects.
• Monitor production and control project costs to maximize efficiency.
• Manage schedules, procurement, and safety compliance during execution.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to craft teams and ensure quality workmanship.
