Job summary

IDOM USA is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer for our industrial facilities team in the US. You will perform mechanical design work, piping analysis, and equipment sizing for diverse projects across Power, Manufacturing, Petrochemical, Pulp & Paper, and Mining sectors.

The role requires at least 8 years of experience, ability to work independently, and occasional travel (<20%). A PE license strengthens candidacy; Spanish is a plus. Our firm emphasizes a full benefits package and work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering with mechanical emphasis is required.
• Minimum 8 years of mechanical engineering experience for industrial applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical design tasks for industrial facilities, including specification prep and design calculations.
• Evaluate existing facilities and monitor construction; gather on-site data as needed.
• Prepare specifications and technical reports; communicate with team members.
• Review and perform engineering calculations; develop design details for steel and concrete structures.
