Job summary

Cornerstone Energy Services, Inc. seeks a Mechanical Designer II to develop complex 2D/3D designs for energy infrastructure projects. You will collaborate across disciplines, create 3D site models, and help set design standards.

With 5+ years of experience, you lead and mentor design staff, review work for accuracy, and stay current with industry tools such as AutoCAD, CADWorx, and Revit. Office-based role with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Associate degree in a related field or applicable certificate.
• Five or more years of experience developing complex 2D and 3D designs.
• Expert skills with AutoCAD and CADWorx; Revit knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with other designers, engineers and disciplines in development of process and site design.
• Produce complex 3D designs and models of sites, facilities, pipelines, supports, foundations & other required elements of energy infrastructure systems.
• Read, interpret and apply engineering terminology and symbols.
• Develop design and drafting standards and procedures with the D&D Coordinator, and update as needed.
• Train, coach, or mentor Mechanical Designers as appropriate.
• Provide leadership to design and drafting staff on assigned projects and review work for accuracy.
