Job summary

ExxonMobil Baytown is seeking a Senior Mechanical Integrity Engineer to lead fixed equipment RBI programs, troubleshoot issues, and drive asset reliability across the petrochemical complex. You will perform thickness and fitness-for-service analyses, plan inspections with NDE, and collaborate with Inspection, Maintenance, Process, and Operations teams to ensure safe, efficient plant operations.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Mechanical, Materials, Corrosion Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years experience with Mechanical Integrity in a Petrochemical facility.

Responsibilities

• Ownership of unit risk based inspection program.
• Work selection recommendations.
• Planning inspections with appropriate coverage and NDE techniques.
• Analysis of inspection results and recommended future actions.
• Perform mechanical analysis of required thickness and fitness for service assessments.
• Respond to plant operational events.
• Provide repair and replacement specifications.
• Analyze site fixed equipment performance.
• Drive site asset improvement in SAFETY, RELIABILITY, ENVIRONMENTAL PERFORMANCE and EQUIPMENT CAPABILITY.
• Support capital projects and minor modifications in design consulting and start-up.
• Communicate with Inspection, Maintenance, Process, and Operations teams daily.
