Job summary

Cherokee Enterprises, Inc is seeking a Project Manager to provide high-level direction across multiple projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget completion and strong client satisfaction.

The role requires developing bids, nurturing business relationships, and driving opportunities. You will coordinate with on-site superintendents, manage subcontractors, and monitor budgets and schedules to deliver quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering.
• Licensing as a Professional Engineer, General Contractor, Pollutant Storage System Contractor (PSSC), or Mechanical Contractor is a strong plus.
• 3–5 years as a Project Engineer; 5 years of construction experience.
• Mastery of MS Office and project scheduling tools.

Responsibilities

• Analyze projects to define scope, schedule, budget.
• Coordinate with EHS to develop HASP and safety plans.
• Prepare subcontracts, bonds, and insurance certificates.
• Review shop drawings and submittals for quality control.
• Manage cost control, invoicing, and progress billings.
• Update project control and document control systems.
• Visit job sites to inspect progress and resolve issues.
• Coordinate with vendors, subs, and owners to ensure on-time completion.
