Job summary

KLH Engineers is seeking a Lead Mechanical Engineer with a fire protection focus to join our team in Fort Thomas, KY. You will develop floor plans, isometrics, system calculations and equipment schedules while coordinating with CA reps and field personnel.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in MEP engineering, an engineering license (preferred), and proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit. Healthcare experience is a plus, with strong budgeting and client communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (B.S) from a four-year university or equivalent experience is required.
• Professional Engineering license preferred.
• LEED AP is preferred.
• 5+ years working in an MEP engineering consulting firm on multiple building types.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical engineering tasks with fire protection focus.
• Develop technical deliverables including floor plans, isometrics, and system calculations.
• Coordinate with clients and internal teams to meet project objectives on time.
