Qualifications

• 10+ years of mechanical estimating experience in industrial/HVAC/plumbing systems.
• Proven experience estimating process piping projects.
• Strong knowledge of Design-Build and Plan & Spec delivery methods.
• Proficiency with estimating software, on-screen takeoff tools, and spreadsheets.
• Ability to produce accurate, competitive, timely estimates with minimal information.
• Understanding of cost structures for Design-Build projects.
• Excellent communication with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
• In-depth knowledge of HVAC, industrial systems, and piping systems.

Responsibilities

• Participate in pre-bid meetings and scope reviews to understand project requirements.
• Review bid documents, drawings, and specs.
• Identify, solicit, and manage subcontractor and vendor quotations.
• Perform quantity takeoffs using estimating software within deadlines.
• Collaborate with estimators, operations, and internal teams.
• Prepare and finalize comprehensive estimates adhering to bid deadlines.
• Evaluate proposals for scope, compliance, and schedule alignment.
• Provide post-award support to field operations.
