Job summary

FabLogix, based in Duncan, SC, seeks an experienced Mechanical Estimator to develop accurate, timely cost estimates for multi-trade modular assemblies and associated structural steel. You will support pharmaceutical, chemical, data center, food & beverage, and manufacturing projects with model-based take-offs and fabrication-driven estimating.

The ideal candidate excels at Navisworks-based take-offs, collaborates with engineering and operations, and crafts pricing narratives to back proposals

Qualifications

• 5+ years of estimating experience in pipe fabrication, mechanical contracting, or industrial construction.
• Experience with modular or prefabricated systems (preferred).
• Experience estimating for industrial clients such as pharma, chemical, data centers, or manufacturing facilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quantity take-offs and develop labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor pricing.
• Evaluate constructability, sequencing, and modularization opportunities during estimating.
• Coordinate with engineering to resolve model discrepancies and ensure pricing aligns with scope.
• Support proposal submissions with pricing narratives and scope summaries.
• Participate in internal estimate reviews and handoffs to operations.
