Harrison, Walker & Harper in Paris, TX is seeking a skilled Mechanical Estimator to prepare cost estimates for HVAC, plumbing, piping, and process mechanical systems. You will review drawings, perform quantity takeoffs, and develop bid proposals.

The role collaborates with project managers, vendors, and clients to ensure complete and accurate estimates. You'll identify cost-saving opportunities, participate in pre-bid activities, and contribute to winning bids.

• Strong understanding of construction documents and specifications.
• Proficient in take-offs and scope analysis.

Responsabilidades

• Review project plans, specifications, and contract documents to determine project scope.
• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, piping, and associated equipment.
• Develop accurate labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor cost estimates.
• Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotations.
• Prepare complete bid proposals and estimate summaries.
• Identify value engineering opportunities and cost-saving alternatives.
• Attend pre-bid meetings, site visits, and project walkthroughs as required.
