Leonardo DRS Daylight Solutions is seeking a Senior Technical Intern - Mechanical in San Diego, CA. You will work with a multidisciplinary engineering team, participate in prototyping, testing, and data gathering, and be mentored by experienced engineers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Mechanical Engineering student with some progress toward degree.
• Must have good interpersonal skills and the ability to build a network.
• Must be diligent, hardworking, and quick to learn.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on development, prototyping, and testing of mechanical and opto-mechanical systems.
• Work closely with engineers on various assignments.
• Carry out basic work instructions to understand company fundamentals.
• Conduct limited scope testing under supervision; complete tasks on time.
• Gather and assemble data for engineers; assist with design details.
