Job summary

Compri Consulting is seeking a Sr. Mechanical Engineer to design, develop, and support mechanical products from concept to production, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, manufacturable solutions.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, 5+ years in manufacturing, and experience with wearables or miniaturized devices, with strong SolidWorks and FEA skills (Ansys). A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years of mechanical engineering experience in manufacturing.
  • Experience with wearables or miniaturized products.
  • Strong DFM, high-volume manufacturing, and injection molding expertise.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks and FEA tools such as Ansys; recent SolidWorks experience preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

  • Lead mechanical design reviews for new products.
  • Design, test, and optimize mechanical components.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, industrial design, and electrical engineering.
  • Support product launches, vendors, and engineering changes.
  • Improve product quality, manufacturability, and assembly.
  • Troubleshoot design and process issues.
