Job summary

Entegris, Inc. seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer to design gas filtration, diffusers and purifiers for advanced semiconductor applications. You will lead prototype development, coordinate with R&D and operations, and ensure designs meet stage‑gate requirements.

Strong CAD, CFD/FEA and data analysis skills are essential. The role emphasizes high‑purity processes, collaboration with global teams, and hands‑on testing to drive production readiness.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field with 5+ years of experience.
• MS in Mechanical Engineering or related field with 3+ years of experience.
• Familiarity with ASME Section VIII or similar pressure vessel codes preferred.
• Professional Engineer Certification or ability to obtain one is a plus.
• Experience with CFD/FEA preferred.
• Strong data analysis skills with Excel and Minitab.
• Solid modeling in SolidWorks; GD&T and creating manufacturing drawings.
• Ability to design, fabricate, and qualify tooling and equipment for testing/production.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects related to technology development and new product introduction through stage‑gate process.
• Conceptualize, design and develop prototypes with emphasis on high‑purity processes.
• Generate intellectual property and characterize prototype performance through testing and data analysis.
• Design, build, and qualify laboratory equipment, fixtures, and tooling.
• Support evaluation, selection, and procurement of external capital equipment.
• Provide documentation such as drawings, SOPs, and test procedures.
• Perform hands‑on testing and root cause analysis on quality issues.
• Collaborate with customers to define performance requirements and validate products.
