Job summary

Yoh is seeking a Mechanical Engineer III to support Applied Materials in Gloucester, MA. This onsite role focuses on identifying mechanical issues, designing and testing layouts, and developing tooling and fixtures for manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 4–7 years of experience.
• CREO CAD experience required.
• Knowledge of thermodynamics, sheet metal design, material selection, manufacturing methods, GD&T, flow analysis and DFx principles.

Responsibilities

• Identify and troubleshoot complex mechanical problems.
• Define, coordinate, perform and document engineering tests and reports.
• Develop and modify layouts, schematics, specifications and drawings.
• Perform engineering analysis and lead technical projects.
• Design custom tooling, fixtures and manufacturing processes.
• Review engineering documentation and develop mechanical solutions.
• Build consensus and communicate technical information clearly.
