Job summary

engineeringjobs.net, Inc. seeks an experienced Mechanical Engineer to own major boat systems from specification and design through prototyping, validation, and high-volume manufacturing, including composite structures, interiors, mechanisms, and marine systems.

You will lead design decisions and reviews, conduct on-water testing and failure resolution, drive cross-functional integration with suppliers and manufacturing, and mentor junior engineers to uphold data-driven technical decisions

Qualifications

  • Requires a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field.
  • At least five years of industry experience taking hardware from concept through production.
  • Expertise in CAD and PLM systems.
  • Composite-structure experience, strong engineering fundamentals including hand calculations and FEA.
  • Design-for-manufacturing experience, hands-on fabrication and testing skills.
  • Ability to lead data-driven technical decisions.

Job description
