Job summary

Motivo is seeking a senior Mechanical Engineer who will directly contribute to the design, engineering, and in-house build of fast-paced projects. You will work on complete vehicle systems, vehicle telematics, battery systems, and computer vision/machine learning applications across mobility and industrial automation.

Senior hands-on engineers with cross-functional experience thrive here. Requirements include a BS in engineering and at least 5 years in automotive engineering or engineering

Qualifications

• Development of complex systems across multiple engineering disciplines.
• Advanced CAD modeling using major software packages.
• Reading and interpreting engineering specifications.
• Top-level system architecture development/editing.
• Structural design, analysis, and optimization.
• Detailed design and technical drawings generation.
• Manufacturing support for components and builds.
• Presenting results to internal teams and customers.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Cross-functional collaboration across disciplines.
• Rapid prototyping of electro-mechanical systems is a plus.
• Technical mentorship for new engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, engineering, and build in-house for fast-paced projects.
• Test designs including vehicle engineering and integrations with CV/ML applications.
• Collaborate with teams across automotive, aerospace, robotics, and energy sectors.
