Job summary
Envista Holdings Corporation in Pomona, CA is seeking a Staff Mechanical Engineer to drive new product development and sustaining engineering. You will lead complex projects, apply design control, and mentor junior engineers while ensuring performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
The role requires CAD expertise (SolidWorks), cross-functional collaboration, and strong project management. Travel up to 10% domestically and internationally; you’ll improve processes and support regulatory
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with 7+ years of experience.
- Experience with project management systems (MS Project/Workfront).
- Expertise with CAD software, preferably SolidWorks, and simulation extension tools.
- Strong understanding of design control process from concept through commercialization.
Responsibilities
- Lead NPD projects and sustainment initiatives to improve performance and manufacturability.
- Provide technical support and mentorship to junior engineers.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain design documentation.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and customer support teams.
- Conduct testing and validation of design changes.
