Job summary

M2X Energy Inc is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead design and manufacturing of modular, mobile gas‑to‑methanol systems at our Rockledge, FL facility. You will transform process designs into detailed mechanical drawings, create 3D models, and guide prototypes to scalable production.

The role requires hands-on assembly expertise, strong knowledge of ASME/NEC/OSHA standards, and collaboration across engineering, procurement, and production teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical design and manufacturing engineering.
• Experience with construction, fabrication, and assembly of equipment and large-scale process equipment.
• Proficient in 3D CAD such as Autodesk Inventor or AutoCAD.
• Strong knowledge of process systems, mechanical codes, standards, and safety/performance specs.
• Hands-on experience with mechanical assembly, electrical integration, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Experience taking concepts from design through pilot stages to full-scale manufacturing.
• Quality system implementation, root cause problem solving, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support, documentation, and design for manufacturing input.
• Review mechanical and electrical designs to improve manufacturability and provide drawings, materials, procedures, and control of equipment.
• Design and develop process equipment including vessels, piping, and heat exchangers.
• Create and review 3D models, detailed drawings, and assembly instructions with fabrication teams.
• Translate P&IDs and process flow diagrams into efficient fabrication and assembly workflows.
• Design SOPs, work instructions, and assembly guides for technicians and contractors.
• Specify and source tools, fixtures, and jigs to improve build accuracy and reduce cycle time.
