Job summary

Hire Up Staffing Services is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support design and process development in a high-performance manufacturing environment. You will work on pressure vessels, hydraulic systems, and custom equipment for industrial and energy sectors.

Responsibilities include drawing and documentation control, design verification, and cross-functional collaboration to improve manufacturing outcomes and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of engineering experience in Oil & Gas, Construction, or related industries.
• ASME pressure vessel design experience and related certifications
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Strong analytical thinking, problem solving, and presentation skills
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts across teams and with customers
• Familiar with DFMA principles
• SAP experience
• SolidWorks and 3D modeling proficiency
• Knowledge of ASME codes (Section VIII, B16.5, B31.1, B31.3, B31.8)
• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems

Responsibilities

• Prepare, verify, and maintain drawings, models, and engineering documentation to support product development and compliance with applicable standards.
• Oversee design verification and testing activities, analyze data, and document results to confirm design intent and ensure reliability.
• Partner with operations, quality, and assembly teams to resolve issues and improve manufacturing outcomes.
• Identify and implement improvements to enhance existing designs and streamline production processes through continuous improvement methodologies.
• Lead or support interdisciplinary project teams, ensuring deliverables align with timelines and quality expectations.
• Apply FEA/FEM, CFD, and DFSS to validate and enhance product performance.
• Create innovative product designs that balance customer needs, manufacturability, and cost.
• Translate complex requirements into clear, feasible engineering solutions for clients.
