Qualifications

• Engineering or technical degree required.
• Five or more years field/design experience in small utility/industrial installations.
• Ability to self-motivate, plan projects, and communicate with team.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of workload.

Responsibilities

• Develop mechanical designs for rotating equipment from concept through construction.
• Support hydroelectric and diesel plant maintenance programs.
• Provide operational support across plant facilities, including after-hours troubleshooting.
• Investigate and resolve design problems; prepare reports, standards, specs, RFPs, and requisitions.
• Perform equipment installation, testing, startup, upgrades, and repairs with mechanics and electricians.
• Prepare SOPs and safety procedures; review facilities for NESC compliance.
• Collaborate on budgeting, planning, and project tracking.
