Bridgestone Americas is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for the Aiken County PSR/LTR Plant. The role focuses on design, installation and continual improvement of machines to maximize safety, quality and efficiency.

Senior responsibilities include FAT, commissioning and on-going maintenance support. Ideal candidates have a BS in Mechanical Engineering and 5+ years in industrial environments, with AutoCAD and Inventor experience and strong project management skills.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years in industry.
• Strong project management skills.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Inventor; 3D modeling.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical projects from design to FAT and commissioning.
• Provide technical support to internal customers.
• Manage machine installations and upgrades with budgets.
• Ensure safety objectives and legal requirements.
• Oversee project workflow and external resources.
• Collaborate with vendors and contractors.
• Analyze requirements and address design challenges.
• Maintain safety and quality on the production floor.
