Job summary

Energy Northwest is seeking an experienced engineer to provide independent engineering services and support for complex design modifications, operating assessments, and regulatory compliance. The role requires technical leadership, mentoring, and advisory duties across projects in Richland, WA.

You will work with minimal supervision, guide teams, and ensure adherence to industry standards, with an emphasis on safety and reliability in all tasks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering + 7 years of engineering experience; OR HS diploma/GED + PE license + 8 years of experience.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD programs.
• Ability to develop and prepare complete mechanical design/specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform highly complex engineering analyses and designs for operations, systems, programs, inspections, and assessments.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring on projects.
• Lead small groups to resolve complex issues and provide direction to other engineers.
