Job summary

ResMed Inc. is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer for motorized blower development in Calabasas, CA.

You will design, prototype and test blowers, turning requirements into robust, scalable designs for healthcare products. You will lead mechanical specifications, tolerance analyses, drawings, test protocols and verification activities, while mentoring junior engineers and coordinating with manufacturing, quality, and supplier teams.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Experience with risk management and FMEA.
• Experience with engineering drawings, GD&T and change control processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to explain findings clearly.

Responsibilities

• Design motorized blower systems and assemblies for new or existing products.
• Define mechanical specs to ensure reliable manufacture and product requirements are met.
• Create layouts, drawings, tolerances and engineering documentation.
• Build prototypes and plan tests; evaluate results and make recommendations.
• Collaborate with Systems Engineering to assess risk and downstream impact.
