Job summary

NEURA Robotics is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to own complex mechanical systems in the MiPA Robotics team. You will lead development from concept to production, designing assemblies, mechanisms, and integrated subsystems with CAD tools such as SolidWorks, Creo or Siemens NX.

You will perform strength and tolerance analyses, drive manufacturing friendly designs, and collaborate with electronics, controls, software, and systems engineering teams to ensure robust product architecture.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics or a comparable field.
• 10+ years of experience in mechanical product development.
• Strong expertise in mechanical design, machine elements, and complex electromechanical systems.
• Experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks, Creo, or Siemens NX.
• Strong understanding of structural mechanics, tolerancing, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation and BOMs.
• Familiarity with DFM/DFA methodologies.
• Understanding of complete mechatronic systems.
• Structured and independent working style with strong ownership mentality.
• Good German and/or English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Development, design, and optimization of mechanical systems for the MiPA robotics platform.

• Creation of CAD models, technical drawings, engineering documentation, and bills of materials.

• Selection of suitable materials, manufacturing technologies, and production processes.
• Ownership of engineering data quality, documentation standards, and revision management.
• Contributing to technical decision-making, design reviews, and product architecture discussions.

In our MiPA Robotics team, we are developing the next generation of cognitive mobile robots designed to operate safely and intelligently in human environments. As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will take ownership of complex mechanical systems and drive product development from concept to production.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Development, design, and optimization of mechanical systems for the MiPA robotics platform
