Job summary

Qualifications

  • U.S. citizenship and active security clearance required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace engineering.
  • 12+ years in DoD/ISR/SOF contexts, 5+ in relevant domains.
  • 2+ years in design/development/integration of aircraft systems.
  • Experience leading engineering projects (lead, PM, or equivalent).

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership on hydraulic/pneumatic/mechanical systems, flight controls, mass properties, and structures.
  • Lead hardware design, development, integration, and analysis across the lifecycle.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and tradeoff analyses for design improvements.
  • Support airworthiness activities and certification criteria (e.g., TACC/MACC).
  • Assist investigations, deficiency reports, and field/depot support requests.
  • Participate in program events and reviews (TIMs, PDRs, CDRs, PCAs, FCAs, FATs, CCB/AW).
  • Develop structural and corrosion repairs; contribute to prevention and control efforts.
  • Analyze progress, identify issues, and recommend solutions.
  • Support OSS&E, MECSIP, AVIP, ASIP, and corrosion prevention programs.
  • Coordinate with IPTs to ensure subsystems meet requirements.
  • Assist with DMSMS management activities.
