Job summary

Vistra Nuclear Operations Company in Shippingport, PA, seeks a Mechanical Sr. Engineer for the Steam Generator Replacement project at Beaver Valley.

The role frequently works independently to identify and perform tasks, supports gathering and analysis for Vistra initiatives, and develops strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Responsibilities include leading complex problem-solving efforts, coordinating projects, ensuring safety compliance, and preparing reports

Qualifications

• 4 yrs. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited program.
• Minimum 6 yrs. relevant job experience

Responsibilities

• Identifies and performs task as required to meet objectives
• Lead interpretation and analysis of complex issues
• Coordinates assigned projects, studies and initiatives through completion
• Comply with safety policy and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
• Prepare and present reports including recommendations to resolve complex issues
• Participate in and on occasion lead special project and committees including external organizations
• Lead complex problem - solving efforts
