Job summary

Vistra Nuclear Operations Company in Shippingport, PA is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support the Steam Generator Replacement project. The role works with guidance from the supervisor to prepare and present routine reports and may lead routine problem-solving efforts.

You will maintain effective working relationships with team members, contribute to safety policies, and participate in project organization and reporting activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited program.
• Minimum 2 yrs related job experience.
• Experience preparing routine reports and assisting in problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Performs assigned task with guidance from supervision.
• Assemble and collate issue-specific information to support studies.
• Assist in organizing and occasionally lead assigned projects.
• Comply with safety policy and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Prepare and present routine reports.
• Participate in special projects, committee assignments and routine problem-solving efforts as requested.
