Job summary

CPH in Sanford, FL is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead and deliver mechanical and plumbing designs from concept through construction.

You will manage multi-project deliverables, review drawings, mentor junior staff, and coordinate with clients and vendors to meet schedules and budgets. Florida PE license or reciprocity required, 7+ years' experience in HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Protection, boilers, and chiller systems.

Qualifications

• Licensed Professional Engineer in Florida or ability to attain reciprocity.
• Minimum of 7+ years of mechanical engineering and design experience including HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Protection, Boilers, Chillers, and Central Heating systems.
• Project experience in designing Mechanical/HVAC systems for various industries.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical and plumbing systems independently.
• Prepare and revise documentation across project phases.
• Manage and execute mechanical engineering deliverables across multiple projects.
• Develop project scope, budgets, and design approaches.
• Review equipment data sheets for compliance and advise on impacts to scope, schedule, and budget.
• Conduct quality assurance and control on projects.
