Job summary

CPH is seeking an Electrical Engineer, PE to join our MEP team in Sanford or Orlando, FL. The role involves designing electrical systems, performing detailed analyses, and ensuring compliance with codes and standards.

Applicants should hold a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering and a PE license or be pursuing PE with a plan to obtain it within six months. Opportunity to lead design efforts and coordinate with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• PE license or EIT with ability to obtain PE within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement integrated electrical systems from scratch.
• Perform electrical calculations: load analysis, breaker sizing, conduit and wire sizing, voltage drop, fault current.
• Ensure designs comply with safety and regulatory standards.
• Create electrical design drawings, installation procedures, and reports.
• Oversee Electrical Designers and review drawings for accuracy.
• Assist in evaluating designs for operational and cost-effectiveness.
• Support cross-functional teams and align on project timelines.
