Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years of experience or MS in Mechanical Engineering with 3+ years of experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance.
• Experience leading multiple projects to completion.
• Strong manufacturing knowledge and metal fabrication principles.
• Experience with PM and/or Systems Engineering practices.
• Extensive knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Experience with NI hardware/software or similar data acquisition systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple high-profile projects interfacing with customers to define test requirements and manage suppliers.
• Self-manage projects and communicate with customers, engineers, logisticians, and technicians.
• Lead projects from concept through post-test analysis and facility approval for mechanical/electrical interfaces.
• Develop technical documents such as TDPs, AOAs, project schedules, and presentations.
• Ensure on-time and on-budget delivery with detailed documentation.
• Interface with customers at Charleston, SC and at customer sites.
