Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited program.
• PE license in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Minimum of 10 years of mechanical engineering experience.
• Experience leading HVAC, plumbing, and central utility systems.
• Comprehensive knowledge of IBC, IMC, IECC, IPC, NFPA.
• Proficiency with ASHRAE standards.

Responsabilités

• Lead the mechanical engineering effort for complex healthcare, federal, higher education, and industrial projects.
• Provide technical leadership for HVAC, plumbing, and central utility system design from concept through construction.
• Ensure designs comply with codes and client criteria (IBC, IMC, IPC, etc.).
• Lead multidisciplinary project teams and coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and owners.
• Perform engineering calculations, system analyses, equipment selection, and basis of design development.
• Manage project scope, budget, schedule, staffing, and performance.
• Support construction administration including submittals, RFIs, site observations, and commissioning.
• Mentor engineers, designers, and EITs to foster growth.
• Establish and promote best practices and quality standards within the team.
• Support business development activities and client engagement for pursuits.
• Expand Dallas office presence in target markets using technical and relationship-building skills.
• Develop strong client relationships for repeat business and growth.
• Participate in recruiting and onboarding of new talent.
• Contribute to strategic growth and leadership of the Dallas mechanical practice.
