Ideal candidates have 8+ years in precision electromechanical design, strong CAD skills (SolidWorks preferred), and a track record of delivering complex systems from concept to deployment in an onsite

Qualifications

• BS or higher in Mechanical Engineering and 8+ years designing precision electromechanical systems.
• Proven track record delivering commercial products from concept to deployment.
• Experience with production-ready scientific instrumentation.
• Strong ownership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design complex precision electromechanical and opto-mechanical systems.
• Own designs from concept through deployment; ensure quality and manufacturability.
• Develop robust, production-ready instruments meeting performance and safety requirements.
• Prepare design documentation for procurement and manufacturing.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and timelines.
• Present designs to leaders and cross-functional teams.
• Mentor team members and drive innovative solutions.
