Job summary

The Haskell Company is seeking a Senior Associate Mechanical Engineer in Jacksonville, FL. You will lead design, calculations, and drafting for mechanical and plumbing systems, supervise staff, manage budgets, and coordinate with owners and construction managers across projects.

Responsibilities include ensuring code compliance, developing design basis, conducting cost reviews, and providing mentorship. A hybrid work model with options for our Jacksonville HQ, Atlanta, or Charlotte offices

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree required.
• 8+ years of experience in mechanical/plumbing design.
• Licensed Professional Engineer required.

Responsibilities

• Lead conceptual and detailed design for mechanical/plumbing systems.
• Supervise staff and manage project budgets and schedules.
• Coordinate with owners, construction managers and consultants.
• Ensure code compliance and prepare design documentation.
• Provide field support and respond to RFIs.
