Job summary

GPAC is partnering with established engineering firms to place a Mechanical Engineer (HVAC / Plumbing / Fire Protection) for complex commercial, industrial, institutional, and mission-critical facilities. The role focuses on design and delivery of systems, calculations, and construction docs with client coordination.

The ideal candidate has 5-15+ years of Mechanical Engineering experience, proficiency in Revit or AutoCAD, and strong communication and project-management skills.

Qualifications

• 5-15+ years of Mechanical Engineering experience
• Experience designing HVAC, plumbing and/or fire protection systems
• Revit, AutoCAD proficiency; EIT or PE license preferred

Responsibilities

• Design HVAC, plumbing and fire protection systems
• Perform engineering calculations, equipment selection, layouts and construction documents
• Coordinate with architects, owners, and multidisciplinary teams
• Support construction administration and client meetings from design through completion
