Job summary

Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group is seeking an Engine System Project Engineer to design cost-effective power assembly components and validate mechanical designs. You will gather requirements, support supplier development, and drive root-cause analysis to resolve field issues.

The role requires experience in engine components, DFMEA/DFM/GD&T, and proficiency with NX, ANSYS, and MATLAB. Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with mechanical design validation methods and related standards.
• Familiarity with engine components and cross-system interactions.
• Ability to analyze mechanical design requirements and develop conceptual solutions.

Responsibilities

• Create cost-effective designs for power assembly components (cylinder heads, liners, pistons, connecting rods, bearings).
• Gather and evaluate mechanical design requirements to develop conceptual solutions.
• Support supplier development and prototyping of experimental parts.
• Drive root cause analysis for field failures and implement corrective actions.
