Job summary

Wavetronix in Utah is seeking an experienced, full-time Mechanical Engineer to drive the mechanical design from concept to production, delivering reliable hardware optimized for environmental protection and thermal performance. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary development team across manufacturing processes to take designs from idea to ready-for-production.

The role requires BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering, 5+ years of mechanical design experience, and proficiency in 3D CAD,

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
• 5+ years of mechanical design for electronics or industrial products.
• Proficient in 3D CAD, simulation, mechanical assemblies, 2D drawings, and GD&T.
• Design for injection-molded plastics, sheet metal, die casting, extrusions, tooling, material selection, assembly efficiency, cost, quality, and scalability.

Responsibilities

• Develop an understanding of current Wavetronix products and assigned projects.
• Demonstrate core technical proficiencies by working closely with existing team members on active tasks.
• Adopt the standard engineering tools, workflows, and documentation processes used by the team.
• Drive portions of product development projects from concept through release.
