Job summary

Wavetronix is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead mechanical design, implementation, and validation of industrial products in Springville, UT. You will drive designs from concept to production, delivering reliable hardware optimized for environmental protection and thermal performance.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, exercise sound engineering judgment on trade-offs, and mentor others while aligning with the long-term product strategy.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
• 5+ years of mechanical design for electronics or industrial products.
• Proficient in 3D CAD, simulation, mechanical assemblies, 2D drawings, and GD&T.
• Design for injection-molded plastics, sheet metal, die casting, extrusions, tooling, material selection, assembly efficiency, cost, quality, and scalability.
• Electronic enclosures, mounting systems, thermal management, and environmental protection.

Responsibilities

• Drive mechanical designs from concept to production.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary development team to translate concepts into hardware.
• Validate designs for environmental protection and thermal performance.
• Provide technical reviews and mentorship to less experienced engineers.
