Job summary

Integrated Solutions for Systems, Inc. (IS4S) in Orlando is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design components and assemblies in SolidWorks, and to build, test, and improve hardware for DoD programs.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team across engineering and manufacturing in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should have a bachelor’s in mechanical engineering, 7+ years of hands-on experience, and the ability to obtain a SECRET clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 7+ years of hands-on mechanical design, prototype development, and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks for 3D modeling, drawings, and manufacturing documentation.
• Ability to work with a small, agile development team and obtain SECRET clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop mechanical designs and assemblies in SolidWorks with clear manufacturing drawings.
• Create technical drawings and manufacturing documentation for production.
• Support prototype fabrication, integration, testing, and fielding activities.
• Collaborate with machinists, manufacturing engineers, and test personnel to resolve issues.
